We have lots of activities coming up

Bring a friend day, Saturday, September 12th. If you have a friend who would like to try fencing, or whom you have been trying to talk into it, this is the day. On September 12th, you can bring a friend for a free trial session. The session will include: beginners in both junior and open sessions, beginner-friendly footwork (so you can all have a bit of a rest) at 10am, morning tea for fencers and their parents, and a group fencing game around 12.30.  The flyer can be downloaded here, or pick one up from the club: Bring A Friend Day flyer, September 2015

Competition preparation workshop, Tuesday, September 15th. Planning to enter comps in the near future?  This workshop will include drills, fencing, and some discussion on competition preparation and psychology to help you get ready. This workshop start at 8pm sharp (so there will not be a novice session that night). The cost is $15, payment due beforehand or on the night. Whilst this is timed to help prepare those going to Riverina (so far we have Tim, Connor, Oscar, Jordan and Cathi going), there are also a lot of competitions coming up in Term 4, so be prepared!  The flyer for Riverina is here: Riverina Championships 2015

School holiday workshop, in the morning on Saturday September 26th at Nunawading. This will include swordplay for ages 5-10, with parents and older siblings welcome to join in; introduction to fencing for adults and for children aged 10 plus.
