Club membership provides you with access to club training, events and communications. We are a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers – your membership fees pay for venues and equipment, and the costs of meeting our legal and affiliation obligations.
All club members must be registered with Fencing Victoria. Club membership includes club-level affiliation to Fencing Victoria. If you choose to affiliate yourself then simply show us a copy of the receipt to receive a discount on your membership. To affiliate online or upgrade to full Fencing Victoria affiliation, visit their website: Fencing Victoria Affiliation Information.
The club’s annual membership fee falls due in January each year. Members must pay the membership fee prior to participating in their first training session for the year. For fees paid quarterly, payments are due at the first session of January, April, July and October. We accept payment by cash, cheque and direct bank deposit.
You can also pay online with credit card through the Fencing Victoria portal, but note that a processing fee will charged.

Social Membership: $90 per year
This membership provides access to coaching, classes, events and training sessions where fees are paid separately. It is most suitable for people who fence rarely, only in one class, or need a part-year membership.
You can combine this with quarterly visitor fees to enjoy all the benefits of fencing membership paid quarterly.
Family discounts are available for multiple fencers living at the same address.
Visitors are welcome at all club sessions, however fencers must be affiliated with their state or national fencing association. There is a visitor fee of $10 per session, which does not include coaching or equipment use. Add an extra $10/hour to join classes.
Visitor fees can be paid quarterly for frequent visitors & social members.
As fencing is a sport most people have limited knowledge of, prospective members are welcome to have a go to see if the sport is right for them before signing up. The cost is $20, which includes use of equipment, an introductory lesson, and a chance to hop on the piste and fence some of our regular fencers.
